Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa returned home on Saturday 31/8/2024 following his official visit to Qatar.
During the visit, he met with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
The meeting took up a number of issues of mutual concern.
Khalifa also met with Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit on the sidelines of the second meeting of the Egyptian-Qatari Military Committee for boosting military cooperation between the two countries.
They visited the Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiya Air Academy and the National Service Academy, where they discussed topics of joint interest and military cooperation, as well as the ways to enhance and develop it.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from both sides.
