Abu Janah, accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Health, visits Zawiya and inspects its health facilities.

Tripoli: Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity – Minister of Health in charge, “Ramadan Abu Janah”, paid a visit to the municipality of Zawiya, accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Health, during which he inspected the conditions of its health facilities, monitored the progress of work in them, and followed up on the reality of health services provided to citizens. According to the Ministry of Health, via its official page today, Wednesday, “Abu Janah” inspected the work of health institutions during the visit, in order to determine the quality of health services provided to citizens, follow up on the implementation of hospital efficiency improvement works, and overcome any obstacles facing the work of the health system.

The visit of the Minister of Health and the accompanying delegation included: Bin Nasser Al-Qarawi Hospital, Al-Zawiya Hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, and inspected the health conditions of dialysis patients, and toured the intensi
ve care departments, warehouses, and the pharmacy, and followed up on the needs of kidney patients for medicines and supplies accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Medical Supply Authority.

During the visit, he also met with medical and health cadres and listened to their professional needs and the most prominent obstacles to work and ways to overcome them. He also reviewed the health and treatment status of patients hospitalized in health institutions, their medical and pharmaceutical needs and meeting them until their health condition improves, according to the same source.

The Minister of Health also followed up on the work of primary health care institutions, during his meeting with the Director of the Health Services Department in the municipality.

On the sidelines of the visit, “Abu Janah” held a meeting attended by the Dean and members of the Municipal Council, the municipality’s dignitaries and elders, and health facility officials, discussed the problems and bottlenecks faci
ng the provision of medical services, and ways to improve them in the service of citizens.

During the meeting, “Abu Janah” renewed the Ministry of Health’s keenness to provide the necessary support to health facilities within the municipality, and to provide their needs for medical supplies. He also issued his instructions to the departments and agencies concerned with the Ministry of Health, to provide health requirements for the residents of the municipality.
