US President And Italian Prime Minister Agree On Common Political Priorities, Including Libyan File.

Rome, US President Joseph Biden and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi agreed, during their meeting on the sidelines of the G7 summit, to work together on global challenges and common foreign policy priorities, including Libya, China and Russia.

The United States Embassy in Italy stated on its website on the International Information Network that President Biden pledged to continue to deepen his country’s strong relations with Italy, highlighting the 160th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United States and Italy that falls this year, and that President Biden and Prime Minister Draghi during their meeting in The British County of Cornwall pledged to continue their close cooperation to overcome COVID-19 epidemic, through the G7 commitment to donate pandemic vaccines worldwide, and to rebuild better global health security.
