Tripoli-the American Embassy in Libya called on the Libyan leaders to resolve their political differences through dialogue, compromise, and to hold the credible, transparent, and inclusive elections that Libyans want and deserve.
The Embassy stressed ,on its SMS page yesterday, that the threat of force would destabilize and undermine efforts to achieve national unity, and it is not a legitimate or sustainable way to resolve political differences in Libya.
