The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of three PKK militants in northern Iraq, in an air strike.
The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement today, Saturday, that “one of the Turkish army units stationed in Al-Zab region in northern Iraq, in charge of operations (Lock of the Claw ), monitored the movements of a number of PKK militants, which necessitated an air strike on the places of movement of the Kurdish militants, which resulted in the killing of three of them.
The Turkish army carried out a large-scale military operation on April 18 of last year, and it is still ongoing, dubbed (Lock of Claw ), against the strongholds of the PKK in the regions of Matina, Zab, Afshin and Bazian in northern Iraq.
