The Minister of Interior discusses with the Director of Ports Security the obstacles facing the movement of passengers and goods between Libya and Tunisia.

Tripoli, This morning, the Minister of Interior, “Khaled Mazen”, reviewed with the assistant director of the General Administration of Ports Security, Brigadier “Salah al-Din al-Huraizi” and the director of security for the Ras Ajdir land port, Colonel “Abu al-Rabee’ Makhlouf”, the latest developments on the progress of work at the port.

The meeting, which was held at the Ministry’s office in Tripoli, also discussed the problems facing the workflow and the development of solutions that would overcome obstacles to the movement of passengers and goods between Libya and Tunisia, and take into account the legal procedures followed to limit the spread of the Corona epidemic to preserve the health and safety of all.

The minister listened to adequate explanations about the workflow at the port, the efforts made by members of the police, cooperation and coordination with other authorities working at the port, and the proposed solutions to solve some problems, which contributes to the success of work and tasks inside the port.
