The arrival of the second shipment of the American Pfizer vaccine.

Tripoli, The Medical Supply System received this evening, Sunday, the second shipment of the vaccine supplied by the American company “Pfizer”, after it arrived at Maitiga International Airport and completed its customs procedures.

The Medical Supply Agency said that the shipment contained “250,000” first and second doses, and they were directed to the Biotechnology Research Center to be kept in the refrigerators designated for keeping the vaccine. And distribution in the medical supply system, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shamam, and the head of the cold-ring store in the device, Dr. Abdel Moneim Al-Auzi, the specialists in the device, the head of the examination and receipt committee in the device, and the head and members of the committee in charge of following up on vaccines at the Food and Drug Control Center.

The agency indicated that the Food and Drug Control Center received samples of the shipment to be calibrated by the Center’s Drug Control Department before granting permission to use it.

For his part, the Director of Stores Department confirmed that this shipment is the first batch of a shipment containing one million doses supplied from the United States of America.
