Tripoli, Education Minister said the Ministry was following up closely on the epidemic situation of the CoronaVirus, amid a surge in infections in the Libya and the neighboring countries, indicating that the closure of schools was in execution of orders by the Scientific Advisory Committee.
The Minister indicated that safety of teachers and school staff and indeed the students was a priority for the Education Ministry, and we are committed to create the suitable circumstances to complete the academic year.
The Committee has recommended that study be suspended because of fears of a surge in CoronaVirus infections, to make it easier to detect infections or a surge in cases where students were out of schools.
