Shakshak and the First Vice President of the HCS discuss challenges facing the bureau in implementing its oversight functions.

Tripoli The Head of State Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, reviewed on Monday, with the First Vice President of the High Council of State “HCS”, Naji Mokhtar, the problems and challenges facing the Bureau in implementing its oversight functions.

Shakshak commended the cooperation and coordination between the Bureau and state institutions in a way that contributes to preserving public finance and reducing corruption, as well as raising supervisory awareness and the correct procedures for implementing the tasks assigned to each institution according to its specialization as authorized by law.

Mokhtar stressed the important and influential role of the Bureau in reducing corruption ,and enhancing the level of transparency and accountability with stakeholders.

He also reiterated his support for the Bureau’s strategic plan to improve control efficiency and have an impact on the work of state institutions, which is reflected positively in the lives of citizens.
