President of Presidency Council and President of the High Court discuss ways out of political stalemate

Tripoli- President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al Mnefi and the President of the High Court, Mohammed Al-Hafi met on Monday to discuss latest political situation in the country, and ways to get the country out of the political stalemate, to ensure stability and the establishment of the state.

The meeting which was held on Monday focused on support for dialogue and the process of consensus between the House of Representatives and the High Council of state, in order to reach the constitutional base that will produce parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.

The President of the Presidential Council affirmed his support for the independence of the judiciary which should be saved political wrangling and maintained as a haven for all parties.
