Tripoli, The Media Division of the Oasis Petroleum Company announced on Saturday the holding of technical and engineering consultations between “Oasis Petroleum” and the company “Petrofac”, one of the leading British companies in the field of energy. The media department said that the consultations were held in the presence of the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Oasis Petroleum Company, Engineer “Ahmed Ammar”, accompanied by the President of the National Oil Corporation, Engineer “Mustafa Sana Allah”. The meeting discussed ways to develop production reservoirs and wells at the Oasis oil sites and North Gallo 3 field, as well as provide the necessary technical advice. The management committee of the Oasis Oil Company has been seeking, for a period of time, to develop its exploration and production operations, as it is working to develop the North Gallo field, which is expected to add 100 thousand barrels of crude oil to the company’s production, in addition to the operations of linking wells 4U10 and 4U11 and the establishment of stations to process the oil and gas materials in the region of Gallo 3 field in addition to plans to support the Gallo field “1 and 2” and take advantage of the existing gas estimated at 440 million cubic feet. The company also seeks to enhance cooperation with “Petrofac” in order to train national talent on the use of modern technologies that contribute to the optimal use of resources with the least effort and time. Recently, the Oasis Oil Company launched the second phase of the Al-Farag field, the largest strategic project for the year 2019, which contributes to quantities of crude oil and more than 150,000 barrels of condensate and raise its production capabilities to a quarter of a million cubic feet of gas, which will enhance the support of power plants and factories in the south, east, Morsi and Al-Brega which will reduce dependence on hydrocarbons. Al Waha Company manages a large network of fields alongside the largest oil port in Libya, Sidra Port, and works to avoid technical problems due to the sudden cessation of production.
