Tripoli, The National Center for Disease Control has recommended Libyan citizens not to travel to countries where the mutated Corona virus (Omicron) has appeared, in order to avoid infection.

In a circular issued Sunday regarding the emergence of the Corona virus, the center stressed the need to conduct a (PCR) analysis for all travelers coming from the countries where the mutated Corona virus (Omicron) appeared, and to quarantine them for a period of ten days at least when they enter the country and not mix with people and families during the quarantine period.

In its circular, the center called for the necessity of conducting a PCR analysis for suspected cases coming from travel for fear of being infected with the mutated coronavirus (omicron), and that foreigners coming from the countries where the mutated coronavirus (omicron) appeared should not enter until after proof of a hotel reservation (quarantine). for ten days at their own expense and conduct a PCR analysis with a negative result before departure.

The Center called on the International Health Supervision Office to prepare a weekly update on the countries in which the mutated Corona virus (Omicron) appeared and the measures that must be taken at the ports.
