Member of the Legal Committee, MP for Maysan Governorate, “Raed Al-Maliki”, announced the postponement of the parliament session to vote on the draft budget due to the desire of some political parties to persuade the Kurdistan Democratic Party to participate in the session after its objection to the amendments voted by the Finance Committee on Articles 13 and 14 of the draft budget related to the management of oil activity and the export of oil produced from the Kurdistan region.
Al-Maliki said in a press statement: “Our position is still firm, demanding the rights of Maysan Governorate, fairness for its people, removing injustice in education appointments, and including an item for hiring graduates.”
