The Ministry of Migration and Displacement recorded the return of (989) displaced families in the Sulaymaniyah governorate during the past two weeks, including (4,248) displaced people, on a voluntary basis, to their original areas in the governorates of Baghdad, Nineveh, Anbar, Diyala and Salah Al-Din.
The Ministry stated in a statement: “The willingness of the displaced families to register their desire to return voluntarily came after the direct awareness of the Ministry’s field teams for the displaced families, in cooperation with local governments.
