In his briefing to the UN Security Council on developments in the situation in Libya on Friday, Al-Sunni asked the council to expedite sending a needs assessment team for the elections to Libya, to determine the technical and security preparations and determine the necessary support that can be provided to state institutions to ensure the upcoming elections process.
