Acting Head of the UNSMIL, Stephanie Koury, convened a consultation with the Group Co-Chairs Ambassadors and Defense Attachés emanating from the Berlin process.
The participants emphasized the urgent need to support the efforts of the 5+5 Joint Military Commission in effectively implementing its mandate, particularly reinforcing the Ceasefire Agreement.
According to the mission, the meeting came in preparation for the Security Working Group meeting scheduled for 17 October in Sirte.
The participants expressed their hopes for a productive exchange in Sirte, aimed at advancing stability and peace in Libya.
