Italy renews call for ousting mercenaries and pledges to support stability in Libya.

Rome, Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, affirmed that his country is committed to continuing its support for the stability of Libya, one of the southern Mediterranean countries close to Italy.
Luigi Di Maio said, in a press conference with his Greek counterpart, Nicholas Dendias, Monday, in Rome: ‘The international community should support the political process in Libya and the need to assist in the process of the exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters from the country’.
Di Maio added to reporters: ‘I reiterated to Minister Dendias the importance of supporting the political process in Libya in accordance with a common and comprehensive approach, as well as the urgent need for the withdrawal of mercenaries and foreign fighters, in light of the political elections there scheduled for December 24’
