In his speech on the occasion of Police Day: “Al-Dbaiba” praises the role of the police force in the development and stability of the country.

Tripoli, The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid al-Dbaiba” stressed the role of the police force in the development and stability of the country, especially at this critical stage.

This came in his speech today, Saturday, during his participation in the celebration held by the Ministry of the Interior in Martyrs Square, on the occasion of the fifty-seventh anniversary of the Libyan Police Day, in the presence of members of the Presidential Council, “Moussa Al-Koni” and “Abdullah Al-Lafi”, the head of the Internal Security Service, and a number of ministers and agents, as well as a number of representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Libya.

In his speech, Dbaiba also called for the need to pay attention to the issue of illegal immigration, and to combat organized crime and drug trafficking, according to what was published by the Prime Minister’s media office on his official Facebook page.

The Prime Minister attended the presentation of the various components of the Ministry of the Interior in this celebration, through the symbolic pamphlets of all the departments and institutions affiliated with the Ministry.

On the sidelines of the celebration, the Minister of Interior was awarded by the Prime Minister the rank of major general, which was issued by the Council of Ministers, as the first policeman to be awarded this rank.
