Head of committee assigned by government to follow up Libyan community in Egypt visits Libyan patients at Al-Fouad Hospital in Cairo.

Cairo, The head of the committee assigned by the government to follow up the situation of the Libyan community in Egypt, Salama Al-Ghawil, visited Dar Al-Fouad Hospital in the capital, Cairo, during which he met some Libyan patients, and listened to the difficulties and problems that prevent them from completing their treatment.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Committee stressed the keenness of the Government of National Unity to provide comprehensive and integrated health care to all Libyan citizens in a fair manner, and to consolidate the bonds of joint humanitarian health work between health service providers and their recipients at various levels.

In the same context, Al-Ghweil met with a number of hospital officials and discussed with them ways to solve all the administrative obstacles and difficulties and accumulated financial obligations, stressing at the same time to the officials the need to provide the best health services for Libyan patients in the hospital. Al-Ghwell’s visit comes based on the decision of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Al-Dabaiba, No. 299 / 2021, regarding the formation of an official committee headed by Al-Ghweil, which is responsible for examining the conditions of the Libyan community in Egypt, the difficulties and problems it faces, and ways to find appropriate solutions to them.
