Misrata, The Government of National Accord Minister of Economy and Trade Mohamed Al Hwiej has conducted a tour of the free trade zone in Misrata, to take firsthand account of the activity in the area and as part of the Ministry’s policy to promote free zones and industrial estates.
The Minister also called at the port of Misrata, and held a meeting with the Mayor of Misrata Mahmoud Al Sgoutri, the Economy and Trade Representative in Misrata to discuss economic issues and met law enforcement officers to discuss curbing down prices.
Al Hweij said the Ministry has drawn a plan to activate the economic zones in collaboration with municipalities, to carry out the investment map prepared by the Ministry to spur the economic activity and create new jobs.
