KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, March 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Fragrance Du Bois was honoured to be part of the 25th wedding anniversary celebrations of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Pahang, and Her Royal Highness the Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom. The glittering event was held on Monday 14 March 2016, in the Mayang Sari Ballroom, at Kuala Lumpur’s JW Marriott hotel.
The celebration was hosted by fine jewellery brand, CERES, along with other elite partners such as Tourism Malaysia, the YTL Corporation, Altelia Amani, Wedding Ministry, The Wee Folk and Rosy Ahluwalia. Embracing the theme ‘Ziryab Musiqa’, guests enjoyed an exhilarating night of cultural fusion, with performances from the Middle East and Bollywood taking centre stage.
Fragrance Du Bois was delighted to present its exquisite, luxurious Oud perfumes to the 520 invited guests in attendance, including the silver wedding anniversary couple, Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom binti Abdullah. Also present and enjoying the splendid gathering were Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Dara Tan Sri Naquiah Tuanku Jaafar and Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Mudzaffar Tunku Mustapha, members of the Pahang royal family, as well as the current Miss Universe Malaysia, beauty queens past and present, and many other VIP guests.
“We are extremely honoured to be in the presence of the royal family, and to be given the opportunity to attend such a prestigious event,” said Asia Plantation Capital Malaysia’s CEO, Steve Watts. “Oud oil is known as one of the world’s most expensive essential oils, and, over the years, has become an emblem of Islamic culture in Malaysia. The entire range of Fragrance Du Bois’ perfumes contains 100% pure, sustainable Oud oil and other fine, sustainably sourced ingredients. In essence, all our creations can be described as ‘fit for kings and queens’. On behalf of Fragrance Du Bois and Asia Plantation Capital,” he concluded, “we would like to congratulate their Royal Highnesses of Pahang on their 25th wedding anniversary.”
Fragrance Du Bois also had the privilege of showcasing its Shades Du Bois and Privé collection through the course of the evening, along with the other partner brands that are now available exclusively in Southeast Asia. Three lucky draw winners received Fragrance Du Bois’ enigmatic expression, Oud Noir Intense, as well as the optimistic Oud Jaune intense, and a set of beautiful, aromatic candles.
