Tripoli, Egypt and Britain agreed to support the political track in Libya, leading to holding elections on the scheduled date at the end of this year.

This came during a phone call that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who also stressed the importance of the exit of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya.

According to what was published by the official spokesman for the Egyptian presidency, President Sisi received a phone call from Boris Johnson on Thursday, discussing the latest developments in a number of regional issues of common interest, especially Libya. It was agreed to support the existing political track in order to hold the desired electoral elections on its due date at the end of this year, in addition to the importance of the exit of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libyan territory.
