Cuba has welcomed Arab Foreign Ministers’ decision to resume Syria’s participation in meetings of Arab League’s council and its activities.

“We welcome the step and congratulate the Syrian people and government for a complete regional reunification,” Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuba’s Foreign Minister twitted Monday.

Meanwhile, Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said that Caracas welcomes that decision, considering the move as “comes in the interest of peace and stability in the region.”

“The Bolivarian people and government congratulate Syria,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, hoping the step would contribute to the prosperity of the Arab nation.
