Tripoli 6 December 2022 (Lana) the Chinese BGP Company announced its desire to resume its work in Libya after its suspension earlier.
This came during a meeting of member of the Board of Directors for Exploration, Reserve Development, Planning and Studies of the National Oil Corporation, “Khalifa Abdul Sadiq”, with director of the company’s branch, “Yang Yanjun” and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed the company’s return to resume its activities in Libya, as it expressed its desire to return to Libya as soon as possible, stressing that it had taken measures to reopen its office in Libya and start working in it.
It’s noteworthy that “BGP” previously worked on its land exploratory vessels in Ghadames Basin, in addition to its marine vessels in Sirte Basin.
