Tripoli- The UN envoy to Libya, Abdulaye Bathily, said that it is time to put an end to the transitional phase in Libya and move towards holding free and fair elections.
In press statements, Bathily added that all the leaders from the West and the East, whom he met, expressed their desire to proceed with holding the elections, and these are the aspirations of the Libyan people.
In his statements broadcast by Al-Araby TV, the UN envoy revealed that he will continue his tour, where in the coming days he will make visits to the south, stressing that the Libyan people in general want free and fair elections, and the selection of leaders who care about their economic, social, health and educational needs.
