Tripoli, GNU Foreign Minister Najla Al Mangoush lauded Saudi Arabia’s firm position in support of the Libyan issue.
This came at a meeting Al Mangoush held with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan on the sidelines of the Arab Ministerial Council meeting in Doha, capital of Qatar.
Al Mangoush said she looked forward to upgrading cooperation between Libya and Saudi Arabia.
Several issues of common concern for the two countries were discussed at the meeting. The two sides also discussed the upcoming Berlin 2 Conference.
On his part, Saudi Foreign Minister said his country welcomes any Libyan initiative aimed at establishing peace and security in the country.
