UNIS, -- Security co-ordination was the focus of a meeting which Algeria's Minister of Interior and Local Authorities, Nouredine Bedoui, held with his Tunisian counterpart, Hedi Majdoub, and the Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya's Government of National Accord, Abdulsalam Kajman, here Monday.

The meeting, which was held at the initiative of Libya and which was also attended by the Secretary General of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU), Lahbib Benyahia, focused on the ways to strengthen co-operation in the interior affairs of the three countries, in addition to the development of their border regions.

The vice-chairman of the presidential council of Libya's Government of National Accord was accompanied by the candidate for the position of Interior Minister, Al Araf Salah Al Hoja.

During this meeting, the three countries agreed on the importance and the need for co-ordination and exchange of information in security matters.
