Tripoli- Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, has stressed the need to continue the programme of disclosure and transparency of all expenditures related to the oil sector.
According to central bank’s sources, Al-Kabeer reaffirmed, during a forum to support the oil and gas sector held yesterday in Istanbul, the central bank’s keen interest to support the oil and gas sector and support the efforts of the National Oil Corporation and the Government of National Unity to increase oil and gas production.
The forum was attended by the Government of National Unity, the National Oil Corporation, the Libyan Audit Bureau, the Libyan Investment Corporation and a number of leading international companies in the field of oil and gas, in addition to the Libyan Foreign Bank and the Arab Banking Corporation (ABC).
