Tripoli, The Head of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Saraj said the Independence Day in Libya comes as the country faced a difficult period, which calls for ranks to be closed, and for the interests of Libya to be put first. Al Saraj was speaking at the launching of the National Creativity Rally here on Saturday. The rally is being organized by the General Board of Culture under the theme 'Culture Binds us'. 'The rally coincides with a great day in our history, the 65th anniversary of the Independence Day which culminated the decades of struggle against the colonial forces. The struggle was not limited to combat on the ground against the Italian forces, but our fathers had to wage a corresponding battle on the political front at the regional and international forums, Al Saraj said.
