Al-Mishri discusses with the Algerian ambassador bilateral relations and steps related to the achievement of the constitutional basis

Tripoli- The President of the High Council of State, “Khaled Al-Mishri”, discussed today, Saturday, with the Algerian Ambassador to Libya, “Suleiman Chenine,” bilateral relations and steps related to the achievement of the constitutional basis, in the presence of the second deputy of the Council, “Omar Boushah” and the deputy ambassador, “Al-Arabi Ben Odah”.

The media office of the council stated that, Al-Mishri stressed during the meeting the importance Libya attaches to its relations with Algeria, stressing the need to employ relations in a way that serves the interests of the two countries.

In turn, the Algerian ambassador stressed, according to the media office, the historical relations between the two countries and the joint work to further support and develop them, highlighting in the same context the role of these visits in developing cooperation and diversifying its fields.

The meeting also dealt with the steps related to the achievement of the consensual constitutional basis with the House of Representatives; to reach the electoral maturity that the Libyan people aspire to as soon as possible, according to the same source.
