Vice President of Presidential Council Moussa Al-Kony met Wednesday representatives of heads of political parties in the presence of the Deputy Head of the Government of National Unity Ramadan AbuJanah.
Al-Kony underlined role of political parties in enlightening public opinion by applying democracy and mobilize the street to pressure governments to achieve people’s aspirations for reform and change.
During this meeting, it was stressed that the parties should exercise their functions as one of the tools of change.
For their part the representatives of the political parties said they were following up on the course of the Libyan political situation, which will lead to the completion of a constitutional basis that paves the way for fair elections that satisfy the political parties.
