Al Kony confirms Algeria’s continued support for stability and security and territorial integrity of Libya.

Algiers, Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune on Tuesday received Vice-President of the Presidential Council Moussa Koni, along with the Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, General Mohamed Haddad.
Algerian news agency APS reported that during the audience, ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in several areas were discussed and views were exchanged on regional and international issues of common concern.
Al Koni reaffirmed, in a press conference after the meeting, Algeria’s support for stability, security and territorial integrity of Libya, and that President Tebbune was keen that the Libyan people seek to strengthen national cohesion in Libya, guided by the approach that his country has followed and overcome its adversity, with determination and struggle that has produced political elites who have led the country to safety, in the hope of the success of the electoral entitlement that paves the way for Libya’s stability so that it can enjoy prosperity and development.
The Vice President of the Presidential Council Mussa Al Koni arrived yesterday accompanied by the Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army General Mohamed Haddad and a number of officers, on a working visit during which he met the President and members of the Algerian National Assembly, who praised the steps taken by the Vice President regarding the election file, and the assertion that they will be held on December 24th, and Algeria’s willingness to support the Libyan people in achieving their aspirations to hold elections on set time.
