Tripoli, Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba paid tribute to US support for the Libyan Government as it prepares for 24 Dec. elections.
In a tweet, Al Dbeiba said ‘we thank the US for the support they are offering to prepare for the elections in December, I have underscored need for withdrawal of all foreign mercenaries, to ensure national sovereignty on all Libyan soil.’
‘When I met Mr. Blinken, the US Secretary of State, we discussed work mechanism of the Government of National Unity, reconstruction and the steps needed to push the national reconciliation, Al Dbeiba tweeted.
