Tripoli, The Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba has appointed Salam Al Ghuweil as the Head of the economic team assigned to follow up on Government economic policies.
According to Decision No. 119 of 2021, Al Ghuweil will be aided by Finance Ministry Undersecretary for Budget Affairs, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Local Government for Municipalities Affairs, Chairman of the National Council for Economic and Social Development, Director of Domestic Investment Fund and Director of National Investment as members.
The team is assigned to the job of following up on Government decisions regarding the economic sector and to report back to the Prime Minister on the economic work, job creation for the youth, and to liaise with the National Program for small and medium size projects to resolve the problems they faced, as well as working with the specialized banks to put in place plans to promote economic projects and improve performance of sovereign and investment funds.
