24 Hour, 10 Days Lockdown Imposed In Sirte

Sirte-The Head of the steering Council of the Municipality of Sirte Salem Amer has imposed a 24 hour lockdown on the city to last 10 days starting from Tuesday August 4. In a circulation to the Commander of the Joint Security Chamber the Director of the Sirte Security Directorate, and the Director of the Criminal Investigation Directorate, Amer said a lockdown of all businesses with the exception of small retailers has been imposed in the quarters of the city. The new restrictions excluded bakeries, potable water shops cleaners shops which will be open from 6 am to 12 am, and pharmacies and clinics which will be exempted from the lockdown.
